The Louis Vuitton Foundation, in today"s image, is a museum and cultural centre in Paris, France, promoting art and culture. The extravagant building opened its doors to the public in 2014, thanks to the collaboration between Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, and American architect Frank Gehry. When designing the museum, Gehry drew inspiration from various iconic buildings in Paris, including the Grand Palais and Jardin d"Acclimatation, and applied concepts from 19th-century English landscape gardens.Desktop Version

In 1991, a Vietnamese logger stumbled upon something big in Vietnam"s Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park. During a jungle expedition, he found the entrance to a cave with a roaring underground river, which was later named Hang Sơn Đoòng or "cave of the mountain river." In 2009, the British Cave Research Association led an expedition to explore the site. It was then that they realised something incredible: it was the world"s largest cave. How large, you ask? Hang Sơn Đoòng"s main passage is 5 kilometres long, 150 metres wide and 200 metres high. That"s tall enough to fit a 40-storey skyscraper! Inside, there is a 60-metre calcite barrier called the "Great Wall of Vietnam" and stalagmites stretching as tall as 80 metres.Desktop Version

With its striking dark features and a knack for thriving in places others wouldn"t, this British breed has turned the idiom on its head. Far from an outcast, it"s the backbone of Scotland"s rural life and a true champion of the hills and moors. Interestingly, the Blackface sheep didn"t originate in Scotland but south of the Anglo-Scottish border. The breed"s history is fascinating, and varieties such as the large-framed Perth and the medium-framed Lanark types are found across the United Kingdom. Though it"s the most common breed in the region, the Blackface sheep has spread across the world, including the United States. But don"t be fooled by their names; meerkats are not cats. They"re small carnivores of the mongoose family, native to the deserts and grasslands of southwestern Africa. Meerkats are highly social animals, living in tight-knit groups called mobs, which can consist of up to 30 individuals. These groups are a cooperative effort, with meerkats foraging together, grooming each other, babysitting and taking turns as sentinels to watch for predators. These critters create extensive burrows where they spend the night and retreat to escape the midday heat–meerkats love their afternoon siesta.Desktop Version
